Hi im Lorraine and im the maker behind Hay Cutie, my hobbies include Sewing, gardening, making snack for demanding kids and occasionally working out.

I have had a love of sewing since I was a young girl with Barbie’s, sneaking into use my mum’s sewing machine when I wasn’t allowed. I made a lot of my own clothes In high school and when school was done I moved to Melbourne and worked a few different jobs within the clothing industry, while studying clothing design and production.

For various reasons I had a change of heart and I got a warehouse job driving forklifts and then packed up my life in Melbourne and went into mining in Western Australia.

It was only when I met my now husband, we moved outta town and fell pregnant, I fell in love with sewing again and started making baby outfits for my soon to arrive little cutie.
